About Maureen
My passion to "Make the world a better place one person at a time" began as an astute observer in childhood. Since my immediate environment began with a stone deaf mom and many communication challenges. Socially inadequate I observed the world and reacted to in from a survival and intuitive zone always attempting to avoid the very real threat which surrounded me on a daily basis. Intuitive was taught and developed, actions and nuances observed in order to go into flight or fight at any moment. These lack of healthy tools and skills led to a lifetime of poor choices and flight strategies which silently drove me to self medicate to cope. On the one hand I had surpassed my family limitations professionally and personally on the other I was struggling to cope in the corporate world with skills I was constantly trying to acquire. The stress of which on two occasions caused my body to burnout and malfunction.
In 1983 I ended all self medications and began a very difficult and solitary process of change. To save my life I was forced to quit my 13 year position in the corporate world sell all assets I had acquired and focus on saving my life in order to reduce the constant stress my body had been under since childhood. In 1991 after many diagnosis I was told by conventional medicine "my organs were systematically failing and I should go home and make sure my affairs were in order." Never a quitter, always a researching and early adopter I took many courses to create optimal change and have integrated only those approaches in my coaching practice. Which is in its fifteenth year in 2015 and which has grown solely through word of mouth and client referrals. During the 25 years of lifestyle overhaul on many occasions i experienced the power of my own intuition guiding me towards a variety of approaches which have amplified the vitality and quality of my life more youthful and energized. For this reason and the fact that my wholistic lifestyle approach is a co-creative challenge to old thinking, ways of being and contains a spiritual approach which is no fault but one of ownership on the levels of body, mind mind and spirit I realize it does suit everyone. I prefer you come to me through your intuition not by my credentials which are far and wide but that your longing to be who you were meant to be, your calling and your knowing be your guiding force in connecting with me. That you listen with openness and curiosity to that still voice that calls you towards my work not the rational mind that seeks answers but the heart and intuition which longs to be whole and free.
